Covid 19

In line with the latest guidelines from the British Government, we no longer require vaccine passports or proof of a negative lateral flow tests in order to enter the venue. We do however encourage all customers to take a lateral flow test prior to attending an event here at Clock Factory — please don’t attend if you test positive.

HOW DO E-TICKETS WORK?

We operate a scanning system to verify e-tickets. If you have a smartphone, you can show your ticket on your device — please make sure to download/open your ticket on your phone prior to arriving at the venue. If your screen is cracked, please print out your ticket(s) and bring them with you, as cracked and damaged screens can’t be scanned. The venue will not to be held responsible for an e-ticket to not be legible and scanned.

I purchased tickets for myself and a group of my friends, do we have to enter together?
Yes, we require that you enter the club with your friends and that everyone provides valid ID upon entry

MY EVENT CANCELED OR CHANGED

If an event is canceled, you will be notified by your place of purchase and issued with an automatic refund. This can take up to 28 days to show on your bank statement.

If an event is rescheduled, you will be notified by your place of purchase. If you can’t attend the rescheduled event, you can request a refund from the place of purchase.

I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND THE EVENT

If you no longer wish to attend the event, including for reasons relating to coronavirus or sickness, we regret that we cannot offer a refund – all sales are final, however tickets can be transferred to a new owner at your own discretion.

GETTING HERE

The Clock Factory is located on Silver Street BS1 2AG, in Bristol City Centre. There are a number of different ways to get here

By public transport

Nearest bus station: Bristol City Centre – 3 min walk (0.1 mi)
Nearest train station: Bristol Temple Meads – 20 min walk (0.9mi)

By car

Metered street parking is available around the venue.

By taxi

Uber & ola are widely available across the entire city.

ARRIVING AT THE VENUE

In accordance with licensing law, the Clock Factory has the right to refuse admission without providing a reason. If you’ve consumed alcohol prior to arrival and appear to be in an intoxicated state, behave inappropriately in the queue, or in view of the venue staff, you may be refused entry without a refund.

In accordance with Bristol City Council’s ban on consuming alcohol on Silver Street, any customers found to be consuming alcohol in the queue will be refused entry. Any under 18s suspected of consuming alcohol before attempting to enter the venue will be refused admission.

We operate a strict No Search, No Entry policy and retain the right to ask anyone attending one of our events to take part in a search. Those who refuse will not be permitted to enter the premises.

INSIDE THE VENUE

Crowd surfing, smoking within the venue, throwing drinks and any other behavior deemed as inappropriate whilst inside the venue will result in ejection from the premises without refund.

LEAVING THE VENUE

The Clock Factory. When leaving the venue, please respect the local residents by making as little noise as possible. And do not congregate outside the venue.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Age restrictions vary for each event at the Clock Factory. Age restrictions for each event can be found on the individual event listings on our website, as well as on our ticketing partners’ sites, and on your tickets.

All club events are strictly over 18s, and most events allowing under 18s require an adult to be in attendance, so please read the information displayed on each event carefully before booking.

OVER 14S EVENTS

If an event is billed as over 14s, anyone attending who is under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two under 16s.

Children who appear to look under the age of 14 that arrive at a show and cannot prove they are 14 or over may be refused entry, depending on the type of event. This decision will be made by the duty manager, and we retain the right to refuse entry without refund. Parents will be called to collect their child if the show is not suitable for the person to attend unaccompanied. No refund will be given in this instance.

OVER 18S EVENTS

All of our club nights are strictly over 18s, and in some cases over 21s, with no exceptions. We accept two forms of government issued photographic ID — a valid driver’s licence (full or provisional), or a valid passport, in both instances these must be the original hard documents, Photographs of ID will NOT be accepted.

Citizen cards will NOT be accepted.

CLOAKROOMS

The Clock Factory operates a cloakroom and charges £2 per item. All large items, such as large bags, motorcycle helmets and backpacks, must be left in the cloakroom.

Please be aware that no item will be given out from the cloakroom without the matching ticket being presented. If you’ve lost your ticket, you will be asked to wait until the end of the event to collect your belongings.

Please note that the clock factory cannot accept liability for any items lost or damaged whilst in the cloakroom. All items are left at the risk of the owner.

ID POLICY

WHAT FORMS OF ID ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept the following two forms of government issued photographic ID only, with no exception: We do not accept citizens card.

Driver’s license (full or provisional, in date)

Passport (valid and in date)

Any ID found to be fraudulent will be confiscated and passed over to the police. Please note that ID does not guarantee entry.

CHALLENGE 25

If you’re lucky enough to look under 25 you may be asked to provide ID.

At over 14s events ALL customers will be asked to produce ID to purchase alcohol in the venue. Attempting to buy alcohol if you are under 18 is a criminal offense, and you may be ejected without a refund or held until a responsible adult can collect you. People over the age of 18 found purchasing drinks for those not of legal age will be ejected without a refund.

LOST PROPERTY

If you’ve lost an item at the venue, please contact us via our facebook page inbox https://www.facebook.com/ClockFactoryBristol and include the following:

a description of the missing item

the date of the event

your contact details

any other relevant information

If its a mobile phone – you will be required to unlock it infront of a member of staff

If the item can be located, a member of the Lost Property team will be in touch to arrange for you to collect the item. The venue keeps items for a maximum of four weeks, after which they are disposed of. Items such as passports are handed to the police the next working day.

Clock Factory maintains a strict Zero Tolerance policy for harassment of all kinds.

Clock factory is intended to be a safe space to enjoy music, art, expression and culture. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, contact, bullying, harassment, or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify our staff immediately. You’ll be taken seriously, and will be able to speak in a safe and private space.

Our staff are trained to remove anyone engaging in harrassment, hatred or discrimination of any kind, including:

Sexual harassment

Acts of aggression

Racism

Misogyny

Transphobia

Homophobia

Religious bigotry

Agism

DRUGS POLICY

For your safety, The Clock Factory operates a strict Zero Tolerance policy on drugs and other banned substances. Those caught in possession of any such items will not be permitted entry to the venue and the police may be called.

Under our No Search, No Entry policy, we retain the right to ask anyone attending one of our events to take part in a search. Those who refuse will not be permitted to enter the premises.

PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND MEDICINE

Whilst we discourage bringing medication to the venue, we understand that for some people this is a necessity. If you need to bring prescription medication to an event, please read the following information carefully.

MEDICATION REQUIREMENTS

A sealed package of prescribed medication of a small quantity is permitted, providing that your name is on the label. If possible, please bring a prescription for the medication with you.

Anyone attending with items that are deemed unidentifiable, not in the original packaging, or of a large quantity will be asked to speak with the Duty Manager and Medic on the night, who will assess the situation. The items may be removed until after the show and held in the medical room where they can be accessed, if required.

Please be aware that evidence may be requested by security or medical staff on entry, and you may also be requested to speak with the Duty Manager.

MEDICAL SHARPS

Anyone attending with medical sharps will be asked to discuss their usage with the Duty Manager and the venue’s medical staff, in a private area, to ensure that their condition requires immediate access to these items, as well as to ensure the customer’s safety. We will ensure that you are aware of how to locate and access an area where you can administer the required treatment without any concern.\

DRESS CODE

There is no dress code in place for any events at The Clock Factory, unless specifically stated, Go Crazy!

We would however recommend shoes will solid footing and grip, in particular if the weather is looking wet / icy.

Entry to Venue:
We require all attendees to have their face in clear and uncovered view when entering the premises doors for CCTV on your initial entry, this keeps both you and others safe.
Removing hats / novelty glasses / fancy dress on entry will be required.

NOISE AND SOUND LEVELS

Please be aware that there will be high sound levels during shows, and you may be subject to continuous sound levels which may cause potential damage to hearing. Ear plugs are available on request from the bar.

CAMERAS AND RECORDING EQUIPMENT

To ensure the best experience possible for all of our customers, we don’t allow filming using iPads or tablet devices during any performances, and customers who persist may be asked to leave the venue.

We also do not allow professional cameras (with large or detachable lenses), video cameras or tape recorders in the venue. If you are found to have these with you on arrival, you’ll be asked to either take them back to somewhere safe, or to deposit them at the Box Office. Small compact cameras are allowed unless specified on the day of the show.

STROBE LIGHTING AND PYROTECHNICS

Some shows will contain strobe lighting or smoke effects. Signage will be up in the venue to advise of this. Should you have an issue please speak to a member of staff on the night.

SMOKING

Smoking of any type is not allowed anywhere inside the venue (electric or otherwise)
We do however allow Smoking in the Smoking area to the front of the venue.
Certain events don’t let drinks leave the premises.
There also might be limits to how many people can use the Smoking area on an event.

Is there an ATM in the venue?

No we do not have an ATM inside the venue, the closest ATM’s are on Union St next to Tesco & Sainsbury’s, please be aware all bars are cashless inside the venue.

Is there disabled access?

Unfortunately due to the age and layout of the building, access to both floors 1 and 2 is via steep stairs, making access very limited for customers with mobility impairments.

I am disabled and wish to claim a ticket for my carer, how do I do this?

We advise our customers to contact the venue via email info@clockfactorybristol.com during office hours Monday to Friday 11am-5pm to check availability of disabled access and / or seating. Once the venue has confirmed availability for a free carer ticket you can send a free e-ticket to you.

Do you offer large group / birthday / Stag or Hen discounts?

In some instances yes, depending on the show we may be able to offer a group discount please email info@clockfactorybristol.com with information and how many are in your party.

If you find tickets listed on other platforms please check with us via info@clockfactorybristol.com / or the promoter first to check if a ticket vendor is legitimate.

The Clock Factory is not responsible for any fraudulent tickets bought outside of the listed official ticket vendors above.

Resell tickets

The Clock Factory can only guarantee tickets are legitimate if purchased through our official vendor list, using a third party ticket resale platform is done so entirely at your own risk, Clock Factory will not be able to assist ou should you purchase a ticket from said platforms (ie. TicketSwap)

Booking & delivery fees are non refundable in all instances.

The Clock Factory reserves the right to open and close the sale of tickets for events without prior notification or warning.

Tickets remain the property of the Promoter and constitute a personal license to you, which can be withdrawn and admission refused at any time prior to an event.

Your ticket is issued subject to the terms and conditions of the Promoter and/or particular event. Promoters and event managers have the right to refuse admission to any event.

All Tickets purchased by you must be for personal use. If any re-sale (or attempted re-sale) of tickets is made in contravention of any law or our policies we may cancel such tickets. You are not permitted to combine a ticket with any hospitality, travel or accommodation service, merchandise and/or any other such package.

You may not use Tickets for advertising or promotional purposes or as competition prizes without our express approval.
